When God Calls You

Most of the time, when we are at the most comfortable moment of our lives... God will suddenly instruct us to stand up from that lazy b...

#Goals

As of writing, there are more than 11 million posts on IG about #Goals... and there are about 50 different hashtags pertaining to goals where in #relationshipgoals is about 1.5 million.

I see #lifegoals, #friendshipgoals, #fitnessgoals, #couplegoals, #familygoals, #futuregoals, #summergoals, #hairgoals... etc.

Nowadays, complicated is better... people challenged not just themselves but the world -- yes, the world.

In the long list of #goals, I notice that all are temporal...

#travelgoals, #careergoals, #businessgoals... #lovelifegoals, #bestfriendgoals...

Everything is temporary...

Then, I checked other hastags,  #FaithGoals - 1,634 posts while #ChurchGoals - 374 and surprisingly, #FollowJesusGoals doesn't even exists...

These are actual digits... and I think I have raised the point...

While we were busy in fulfilling many challenging life goals... it seems that we overlook the most important one, the #lifechanginggoals.. our #eternalgoals (298 posts).

Let us not allow these temporary things to occupy our lives and steal our time in pursuing the #eternalgoals...

We may have a lot of plans for our family, for our career, we dream of visiting many places or doing a lot of extra challenging things...but above all these, on top of everything, there is Jesus - it should be our #ultimategoal - to know and follow Jesus, to obey His teachings and to live a life that glorifies His name.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. --Matthew 6:33
ALL THESE THINGS. All our goals will be #achieved...

As long as we #SeekHisKingdom, FIRST...

Because at the end of the day, we may have #push and tried our best, but it is #OnlyByHisGrace that we will accomplish these things...

While we may have goals and a sense of mission about our lives, our lives are not really ours to plan.

I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. — Jeremiah 10:23
